Transfer: Rohr urges Simon to leave Nantes for bigger club

Former Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has urged Moses Simon to consider a move away from Ligue 1 club Nantes.

The 29-year-old arrived at Nantes from Spanish club Levante in 2020.

Simon, who has one year left on his contract with the Canaries, has been linked with a move to Premier League club Everton and Turkish outfit Trabzonspor.

Rohr claimed a move to the Premier League would suit the player.

“England would be a good challenge. He speaks the language, and many Nigerian players have succeeded there. His pace, technical skills, and eye for goal make him a great fit for the Premier League,”; he told Africa Foot.

Simon has registered seven goals and nine assists in 30 appearances across all competitions for Antoine Kombouaré’s side this season.
