Chelsea on Thursday confirmed transfer deals for two players, Jesse Derry and Kendry Paez.

In separate statements via their website, the Blues announced that Derry had joined the club from Premier League side Crystal Palace.

It added that the 18-year-old had signed a contract with the west London Premier League club until 2029.

Derry represented England at this summer’s UEFA European Under-19 Championship.

Paez, meanwhile, has joined French Ligue 1 side RC Strasbourg on a season-long loan.

Paez has gained considerable first-team experience since making his senior debut in February 2023. The 18-year-old has made 70 appearances for Independiente del Valle and has also been capped 18 times by Ecuador.

“We look forward to monitoring and supporting Kendry‘s development throughout his time in France. Good luck, Kendry,” Chelsea’s statement added.
