When I was younger, I could roll into any fast-food chain after a night of drinking and slobber all over a greasy, lukewarm burger and No. 2 pencil-sized stiff cold-ass french fries until I eventually passed out with my joystick in my hand. My PlayStation joystick, ya pervs! Get your minds out of the gutter. And speaking of gutters, that&#8217;s where most fast-food chains forged some of our most beloved meals, but not without consequences. Apparently, according to the number of tweets, KFC has risen to the top ranks of the most hated fast-food franchise in the world. However, here in America, Domino&#8217;s Pizza is the most hated franchise in all the land.

<a href="https://www.eatthis.com/news-most-hated-fast-food-chain-in-the-world-new-data/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Eat This Not That</a> reports KFC shouldn&#8217;t feel too bad about being the ugly stepsister at the ball because it&#8217;s joined by a bunch of other brands. However, even though places like McDonald&#8217;s, Subway, Starbucks, and Wendy&#8217;s all made consumers regret their Dollar Menu decisions in the wake of their race to the nearest toilet, only KFC was worthy of wearing the crown. This highly important study was done by <a href="https://www.ravereviews.org/brands/the-most-hated-brands-in-every-country/" target="_blank">RAVE Reviews</a> who used the &#8220;language analysis tool SentiStrength&#8221; to examine over a million tweets from people complaining about fast food. And KFC reigned supreme!

Listen, I&#8217;ve experienced the disappointment of eleven herbs and spices sprinkled into the limp and lifeless skin of a chicken breast so dry the biscuits offer it a glass of water. So I get it. However, although KFC is the most hated brand on an international level, the chain everyone hates here in America is Domino&#8217;s! Sure, their pizza tastes like the one-night stand test tube baby of Papa John&#8217;s and Little Caesar&#8217;s but I never thought it was hated that much. I mean, I hate it but that&#8217;s because I&#8217;m a pizza whore who will only allow the best to run up in me when I need my fix. And if other&#8217;s feel the same as I do then Domino&#8217;s most certainly isn&#8217;t making the cut. Apparently, when it comes to Domino&#8217;s, people are displeased with missing delivery items and shitty customer service.

And since their breadsticks are better than everything on Domino&#8217;s menu, expect Domino&#8217;s to file for bankruptcy soon afterward.

On yesterday&#8217;s live taping of The View, the show got two unexpected guest hosts in the form of positive COVID-19 tests. One <a href="https://dlisted.com/2011/12/16/breaking-wind-news-whoopi-farts-view/" target="_blank">quick Whoopi fart second</a> before Vice President Kamala Harris was supposed to come out, co-hosts Ana Navarro and Sunny Hostin were told by a producer to GTFO because they had <a href="https://www.flyingeze.com/news/sunny-hostin-and-ana-navarro-were-pulled-mid-show-from-the-view-after-testing-positive-for-covid-19" target="_blank">just tested positive</a> for Coronavirus. It was a moment almost as awkward as Kelly Osbourne <a href="https://dlisted.com/2015/08/04/kelly-osbourne-wants-donald-trump-to-ask-himself-if-we-kick-out-all-the-latinos-who-is-going-to-clean-my-toilet/" target="_blank">thinking she really did something</a> when she asked Donald Trump who&#8217;s going to clean his toilets if he deports Latino immigrants. Okay, not nearly as messy as that. But after some screamed STUNT and others thought that this was all a ruse to get out of asking Kamala Harris the tough questions about the situation at the border, Ana Navarro piped up to say that they were all ready to ask the hard questions and added that she&#8217;s since taken two more Coronavirus tests and both came back negative.

The View is back in the studio this season after the pandemic kept their asses at home last season. Producers say that they&#8217;re taking all kinds of precautions. All of the co-hosts (Ana, Sunny, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, and Sara Haines) are reportedly vaccinated and they get tested regularly. Ana and Sunny got a rapid test before yesterday&#8217;s show and left the set after they were told their tests were positive. The show went on with just Joy and Sara and the Kamala interview happened, but it was cut short and Kamala did the interview via live feed from backstage.
Ana, who is quarantining in a hotel room, talked about it on CNN&#8217;s Anderson Cooper 360 last night. Now, if I was Ana, I would&#8217;ve started the interview by asking Anderson Cooper to tell me more about how his mom, the late Gloria Vanderbilt, <a href="https://www.eonline.com/news/1303710/anderson-cooper-says-late-mom-gloria-vanderbilt-tried-to-convince-him-to-let-her-carry-his-child" target="_blank">wanted to be his surrogate</a> at 85 years old. But instead of talking about that, Ana went into the COVID test drama on The View and said it was like out of an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Um, if Larry David wasn&#8217;t sitting in the front row <a href="https://www.complex.com/pop-culture/larry-david-plugs-ears-new-york-fashion-week" target="_blank">plugging his ears with his fingers</a>, it was not like an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Ana told Anderson that none of the co-hosts ever came in contact with Vice-President Kamala Harris and that they were all ready to hit her with tough questions but then those positive COVID tests hit them instead:
<blockquote>&#8220;It takes so much work to do an interview like this and it&#8217;s something that we were excited about,&#8221; she said. &#8220;We were prepared to ask some tough questions. We were very proud to have the vice president come on The View and all of a sudden it turned into like an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm. It was just surreal.&#8221;
She added, &#8220;Now, because of COVID the table at The View is like the size of an aircraft carrier. Joy [Behar] is clear on the other side. I don&#8217;t think she sees the commotion of what Sunny and I are told by the executive producer, Brian Teta, that this is happening. And of course it&#8217;s a very awkward moment. It&#8217;s puzzling. You&#8217;ve got a hundred things going through your head.&#8221;</blockquote>
It was reported that both Ana and Sunny immediately took another rapid antigen test backstage and both came back negative. Ana confirmed that to Anderson and also said that she took a PCR test and that came back negative too. So Ana thinks her positive test was a false positive. Sunny hasn&#8217;t said shit about this yet.

And of course, The View terror turned Daily Mail writer, Meghan McCain, couldn&#8217;t stay quiet and probably got smug about this on Twitter. After hearing that some of her former co-workers may have caught COVID, Meghan tweeted (and later deleted) about trusting your instincts. via <a href="https://popculture.com/celebrity/news/meghan-mccain-shades-the-view-co-hosts-covid/" target="_blank">Popculture</a>:

BREAKING: Buhari departs New York for Nigeria

The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), has denied releasing any suspected Boko Haram sponsor.
According to him, the report of the alleged release of 300 suspects is a &#8221; misrepresentation of facts relating to the ongoing investigation of terrorism financing suspects in Nigeria&#8221;.
This was contained in a statement by the Special Assistant on Media and Public Relations, Office of the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Umar Gwandu, on Friday.
The statement was titled, &#8216;No Suspects of Boko Haram Financiers Released, your allegation spurious – Malami&#8217;.
It read, &#8220;The report of the alleged release of 300 suspects by the Honourable Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice is a malicious misrepresentation of facts relating to the ongoing investigation of terrorism financing suspects in Nigeria.
&#8220;It is important to reiterate at this point that the fight against the menace of terrorism is an ongoing operation characterized by intelligence gathering, arrest, investigation, and prosecution.
&#8220;The contradictions in the story can best be understood from the point of the analysis of the affidavit that was said to have been procured by the online platform as deposed before a court in relation to the subject matter.
									
										
											
											
												
											
											
											
												
											
										
									
								
&#8220;By their own showing, the Office of the Attorney General has deposed to an affidavit on account of which an order of a Court was obtained, seeking for the continued detention of those financiers that were alleged to have been in custody.
&#8220;This, by implication, established that the matter is effectively submitted to the jurisdiction of the court.
&#8220;It is common knowledge that where a matter is submitted to a Court of law, it is only through the judicial process that any subsequent action can possibly be taken.
&#8220;The question then arising from the claim of the report is this: When was an application filed in Court by the office of the attorney general by which the release of the purported suspects was procured?
&#8220;It amounts to approbation and reprobation for the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation to, in one breath, obtain an order seeking for continued detention of the alleged financiers of Boko Haram and at the same time having them released.
&#8220;If the interest of the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation was to have the people released, the idea of approaching the Court for an order of the court seeking for extension or time to have them in custody couldn’t have even arisen in the first place.

&#8220;It does not add up for the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation to procure the release of someone that has been in custody on account of Court order without approaching the Court. The public, in essence, is entitled to know which application was it that was subsequently filed to procure the release financiers.
&#8220;When was the application filed, before which court was it taken and which lawyer is it that has taken the application and where is the Court order on which account the release was effected?
&#8220;We are also amazed that an allegation of bribe-taking is made. The public is entitled to know who the originator of the bribery was. Who facilitated the giving of bribe? Who accepted or collected the bribe on behalf of the Attorney General? Who were the vendors and facilitators?&#8221;

So the thirteenth season of The Wendy Williams Show was supposed to premiere this past Monday, but last week the show announced they&#8217;d be pushing it to October 4 cuz Wendy Williams got herself <a href="https://www.flyingeze.com/news/wendy-williams-got-covid-19-delaying-the-new-season-of-her-talk-show" target="_blank">a &#8220;breakthrough case&#8221; of COVID-19</a>. A couple of days later, TMZ added another sad layer to the messy nacho dip that is Wendy&#8217;s life when they reported that <a href="https://dlisted.com/2021/09/17/wendy-williams-has-reportedly-checked-into-a-hospital-for-psychiatric-evaluation/" target="_blank">she&#8217;d voluntarily checked into a hospital</a> for a psychiatric evaluation. Then this Tuesday <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10017355/Ailing-Wendy-Williams-seen-pushed-wheelchair-vaping.html" target="_blank">paps caught a frail-looking Wendy</a> being pushed around in a wheelchair, vaping in her car and chatting up some random dude on the street for a half-hour. But don&#8217;t worry, because <a href="https://pagesix.com/2021/09/23/wendy-williams-on-the-mend-show-to-return-oct-4/" target="_blank">Page Six&#8217;s sources</a> insist Wendy&#8217;s &#8220;on the mend&#8221; and the show is still set to return October 4. Are&#8230; we&#8230; sure?

A source &#8220;familiar with production&#8221; tells <a href="https://pagesix.com/2021/09/23/wendy-williams-on-the-mend-show-to-return-oct-4/" target="_blank">Page Six</a> that &#8220;Wendy is on the mend, and doing well. There was a meeting this week, and [execs] assured staff the show will return on Oct. 4., and Wendy is ready to get back to work.&#8221; OK, sure, maybe she wants to get back to work. But based on the wheelchair video from Tuesday, perhaps it would be a good idea not to rush things:

Meghan McCain may be gone from The View but a more terrifying virus hit the set today when hosts, Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro, were told they tested positive for COVID-19 and had to leave the show immediately. This was right before they were about to interview Vice President Kamala Harris,. Surprisingly they weren&#8217;t escorted off the stage by people in Hazmat suits yelling incoherently and spraying them down with an aerosol sanitizer. This would be a change from people in Hazmat suits turning the hose on the co-hosts after they get in one of their <a href="https://www.flyingeze.com/news/the-co-hosts-of-the-view-got-in-trouble-with-their-new-boss-for-fighting" target="_blank">signature fights</a>.

Whoopi Goldberg was not on the show today since she&#8217;s <a href="https://www.flyingeze.com/news/whoopi-goldberg-returned-to-the-view-and-revealed-she-now-uses-a-walker-because-of-sciatica" target="_blank">dealing with Sciatica issues</a>. Joy Behar was filling in as moderator and was about to bring out the VP. But it was not to be. After Sunny and Ana were told to exit the stage, Joy and Sara were the last two co-hosts sitting and Joy later explained that Ana and Sunny were both vaccinated and may have caught breakthrough cases of COVID.

Joy said that they sanitized the set and were going to bring out Kamala, but it was later decided that the risk was too great so Kamala never made it out. Instead, the interview was done remotely during the last part of the show. Kamala did talk about Sunny and Ana testing positive.

BUT WAIT! TMZ</a> gave an update, saying that Sunny and Ana took rapid tests backstage and the results were negative.

Dear Evan Hansen premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this month, and <a href="https://www.flyingeze.com/news/the-first-reviews-for-dear-evan-hansen-are-mixed" target="_blank">the reviews were mostly mixed</a>. But since it came out today, more reviews have been released and most critics hate it as much as whoever did Ben Platt&#8217;s hair in the movie hates him (no, that&#8217;s <a href="https://www.out.com/celebs/2021/5/21/no-ben-platt-not-wearing-wig-dear-evan-hansen" target="_blank">not a wig</a>). Dear Evan Hansen has been ripped a new one by film critics who called the movie one of the &#8220;worst movie musicals ever made&#8221; and described 27-year-old Ben Platt&#8216;s performance as a teenager as an &#8220;obviously grown man just hunching his shoulders.&#8221; Not <a href="https://dlisted.com/2019/12/19/cats-becomes-must-see-movie-as-critics-shred-it/" target="_blank">since</a> Cats&#8230;.

The Broadway version of DEH has been hugely successful, winning six Tonys and taking in almost <a href="https://www.broadwayworld.com/grosses/DEAR-EVAN-HANSEN" target="_blank">$250 million in ticket sales </a>since its debut in 2015. <a href="https://deadline.com/2021/09/dear-evan-hansen-weekend-box-office-shang-chi-1234843679/" target="_blank">Deadline</a> says that it made $800,000 in Thursday previews and is expected to bring in around $10 million at the domestic box office this weekend (DEH&#8216;s production budget was reportedly $28 million). But that won&#8217;t be enough to take down the current #1 movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, which is expected to bring in around $12 million. But if most of North America loves a messy #2 (aka a turd), then DEH may take #1. Because <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2021/09/10/dear-evan-hansen-reviews-what-critics-say-about-the-movie-musical.html" target="_blank">CNBC</a> collected a few of the early reviews and the consensus is: Yikes. A week past and more people watched it and <a href="https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/dear_evan_hansen" target="_blank">Rotten Tomatoes</a> has it sitting pretty at 37% so the opinions did not improve over time.
Robert Daniels wrote for <a href="https://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/dear-evan-hansen-movie-review-2021" target="_blank">RogerEbert</a> that it was a &#8220;total misfire&#8230; It&#8217;s an emotionally manipulative, overlong dirge composed of cloying songs, lackluster vocal performances, and even worse writing.&#8221; Vocal performances! Ben Platt&#8217;s gonna take that one to heart more than the <a href="https://www.flyingeze.com/news/ben-platt-suggests-that-randos-being-jerks-about-him-playing-a-teen-should-watch-grease" target="_blank">&#8220;randos being jerks&#8221;</a> making age cracks. David Gordon wrote for <a href="https://www.theatermania.com/new-york-city-theater/reviews/review-dear-evan-hansen-movie-is-so-drab-so-banal_92717.html" target="_blank">TheaterMania</a> that:
<blockquote>&#8220;Onstage, it’s a tearjerker: a wrenching grief story for the grownups, and a generally frank examination of psychological issues that aren’t really addressed in mainstream media to its plethora of young fans&#8230; It strains credulity&#8230; We know it’s not real, but we go with it anyway, and it provides a nice little catharsis amid the moral gray area as we buy the cast album on the way out. [On film, it’s] a different story. Evan’s actions, which we sort of shrug off after seeing it on Broadway because they’re presented with hints of ambiguity, are truly grotesque in celluloid. He’s a Machiavellian villain in a story where he’s written to be the hero.&#8221;</blockquote>
MACHIAVELLIAN! Alison Willmore, a critic for Vulture and New York Magazine, also had thoughts:

Karl Delossantos from <a href="https://smashcutreviews.com/dear-evan-hansen-movie-review-tiff/" target="_blank">SmashCut</a> dragged it for having a two-hour and seventeen-minute-long runtime even though four songs were cut from its original Broadway composition. He called it &#8220;overwrought and emotionless at the same time&#8230; [It’s] insensitive towards trauma and mental illness, and out of touch with reality&#8230; Undoubtedly one of the worst movie musicals ever made.&#8221;
