WAYNE Rooney is enjoying a leisurely start to his 40th birthday festivities – as Coleen whisked him away for a pilates-themed weekend getaway.
They are indulging in a luxurious weekend stay at Lakes by Yoo.

The adventure began in style, with helicopters landing on the lawn of the Rooneys’ £20m mansion, transporting them and friends to the retreat.
Once onboard, the group enjoyed champagne before reaching the wildlife holiday destination, which is frequented by celebrities such as footballers and models who enjoy its opulent lakeside lodges.
Throughout the weekend, the group participated in a private pilates class with each mat inscribed with “WR40” to celebrate Wayne turning 40 on October 24.
A source mentioned: “Wayne may not be as fit as he was during his professional playing days, but he and the other guys fully engaged and tried pilates. It’s more challenging than it appears.”
“Coleen has been practicing for a long time, so she was able to offer him some guidance.”
The Rooneys seized the opportunity of the international break to escape, allowing Wayne to forgo his pundit responsibilities.
Wayne has previously shared how he struggled to manage the pressures of his football career alongside a lifestyle filled with late-night outings.
In a recent podcast interview, an emotional Wayne expressed: “I truly believe that if she hadn’t been there, I’d be dead.”
“Coleen is incredibly important to me. I’ve made my share of mistakes, which are well known, but I’ve changed over time, and she has kept me on the right path for over 20 years.”
Coleen and Wayne began dating at the age of 16 and tied the knot in 2008.
They are the proud parents of four sons: Kai, 15, Klay, 11, Kit, eight, and Cass, six.
