Reporting an error
Send the article URL, the statement you believe is wrong, and reliable supporting evidence through our contact page. We review good-faith correction requests promptly and may contact the source or reporter for further information.
Material corrections
A factual error that changes a reader’s understanding is corrected in the article. We add a clear correction or update note explaining what changed and, where useful, when it changed.
Minor changes
Spelling, grammar, formatting and clarity edits that do not alter meaning may be made without a correction note. Headlines and captions are corrected when they misstate or overstate the underlying reporting.
Removal requests
Published work is not removed merely because it has become inconvenient. We consider compelling legal, safety, privacy or accuracy grounds and may update, anonymise, noindex or remove material when that is proportionate and responsible.
