A man charged with stalking Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davey and his family has been identified.

Inigo Rowland is alleged to have visited the MP’s residence multiple times between June and October of this year, according to court documents.

The 58-year-old, from Surbiton in South West London, has also been charged with possessing a flick knife.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that Rowland appeared at magistrates’ court on October 7.

He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at the same court tomorrow.
