HE’S been crowned the “internet’s new boyfriend” with his wit and anti-hero charm winning the hearts of Celebrity Traitors viewers across the nation.
But The Sun can exclusively reveal that this crushed-upon TV comic – and has been for some time now.

has been quietly dating podcast producer Hannah Rose for several years.
Mancunian Hannah is a former employee, previously working in commissioning and development for BBC Comedy and BBC Sounds.
The 41-year-old first met his stunning partner while working together on Beeb podcast series James Acaster’s Perfect Sounds, which spanned two series from 2020 to 2022.
Four years on, the smitten couple are currently living together and share custody of four cats: Terry, Alex, Roo, and Spider-Man.

“The cats wake us up around 6.30am,” James said on The New Cue newsletter this week, explaining a typical day-in-the-life. “Feed them, do all the cat stuff. Go to this place nearby to get breakfast, get myself some bircher muesli, filter coffee, bring it back, eat breakfast with my girlfriend.
“Think about doing exercise, spend the whole day putting off the exercise, do it at 5pm, do yoga, go to the gym, get back, feed the cats again and then try and find something to watch, usually a film.”
Hannah has earned the seal of approval from James’ famous funny friends – including his Off Menu co-host Ed Gamble and The Mash Report’s Nish Kumar – who were spotted with their significant others on a lunch date with James and Hannah earlier this year.
The party of six tucked into a steak dinner at London’s Quality Chop House in March for Ed Gamble’s wife Charlie’s birthday, before decamping to a nearby snooker bar for a few lively games post-meal.
A month prior, comic Amy Annette – partner of Nish Kumar – shared a selfie of her and the pair, with James seen cuddling up to Hannah at Tottenham Court Road Tube station following Amy’s birthday celebrations.
Hannah was even seen sporting a gold ring on her wedding finger in one of the social media snaps – though representatives for James have denied to comment or confirm an engagement or secret marriage.
The podcast producer marks the first serious girlfriend for James following his split from actress ex Louise Ford.
In 2013, The Windsors and Horrible Histories star Louise starred opposite in the West End production of Quartermaine’s Terms.
James noticed her becoming increasingly ‘distant’ and the couple eventually split – with the Off Menu star discovering much later that Louise had struck up a relationship with the man best known around the world as Mr Bean.
Divorced muti-millionaire Rowan, 71, and Louise, 42 – who officially began dating in 2014 – have remained together and share a daughter.
