THIS is the disturbing moment a Russian drone intentionally targets and destroys a United Nations aid convoy in Ukraine.

Shocking footage captures the perspective of the drone as it homes in on a clearly marked World Food Programme truck with “UN” emblazoned on its roof.

The pilot had ample opportunity to recognize the symbols before crashing the explosive drone into the vehicle, resulting in a fireball and igniting the truck.

The convoy was on a mission to deliver life-saving aid to Belozersk village in Ukraine’s southern Kherson region.

It was loaded with food and essential supplies from the UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

The grim new footage surfaced days after initial reports of the strike emerged on Tuesday.

It provides further evidence of Russia’s escalating campaign against civilians and humanitarian workers, a strategy that experts believe aims to undermine Ukraine’s resolve to survive.

The Kremlin has not commented, but pro-Putin channels are openly celebrating the strike.

One notorious Telegram channel, From Mariupol to the Carpathians, stated: “Reconnaissance detected the movement of dual-purpose equipment in a timely manner, and within minutes FPV drone crews of GV Dnipro were targeting the convoy.”

“One of the videos shows a moment of free hunting. Any movement of vehicles will be deemed a legitimate target.”

The propagandists provided no evidence for their unfounded claim that the convoy carried “dual-purpose equipment.”

They even accused the UN of failing to “coordinate” the delivery — as if that could justify attacking a humanitarian mission protected by international law.

The United Nations confirmed the attack, stating that none of its personnel were harmed.

However, two civilians in a nearby vehicle — a 73-year-old woman and a 63-year-old man — sustained injuries from the explosion.

In a statement, the UN condemned Moscow’s barbaric assault: “Such attacks are completely unacceptable.”

“Aid workers are safeguarded by international humanitarian law and should never be targeted.”

“Civilians remaining in frontline areas are heavily dependent on humanitarian assistance, and aid workers should be able to deliver life-saving support safely.”

“Deliberately targeting humanitarian workers and assets is a severe violation of international humanitarian law and could constitute a war crime.”

Local authorities also expressed outrage at the Kremlin’s latest act of brutality.

Alexander Prokudin, head of the Kherson regional military administration, declared: “Russia has once again revealed its true and abhorrent nature by attacking a humanitarian mission in the Kherson region.”

He accused Putin’s forces of destroying several tons of urgently needed aid, labeling them: “Terrorists — there’s nothing more to add.”
