gangs are flooding Britain with dodgy versions of the heavy-duty fat-busting jab.

Drugs firm Eli Lilly is still in late-stage clinical trials with the real version — which is not yet approved for human use anywhere in the world.

Trials have seen users lose almost 30 per cent of their .

Now dodgy sellers are flogging knock-off versions openly on TikTok, , and WhatsApp.

Retatrutide now makes up 93 per cent of all doses seized at UK borders, our probe found.

Border seizures of all fake and unlicensed have soared from 435 doses in 2025 to 11,228 so far this year.

Raids on factories netted a further 68,776 doses since the start of last year.

Lab tests found 17 out of 72 examined since the start of 2025 contained no weight-loss drug at all, meaning dieters are injecting themselves with unknown liquid.

Others had retatrutide ranging from 6mg to 25mg per ml — so users even have no idea what dose they are taking.

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency said: “People should be extremely cautious when buying medicines online.”
