VLADIMIR Putin’s blatant sabre-rattling against NATO allies in recent weeks has left the world trying to interpret the Russian leader’s strategy.

In the latest episode of Battle Plans Exposed , former intelligence officer Philip Ingram reveals the true reason behind the dictator's daring airspace violations.

Following a series of bold aerial invasions threatening European security, the continent is now preparing for potential conflict.

Ingram asserts that the true motive behind the recent wave of territorial violations is to instigate fear and drain resources as part of a “distraction strategy.”

The expert states: “It’s a classic decoy; he’s intentionally trying to deplete Western time, money, and resources away from the actual conflict in Ukraine.”

He adds: “While politicians are engaged in urgent crisis meetings, attempting to formulate a response… Russia is free to bolster its strength.”

Vlad’s recent provocations have been characterized as Russia “baiting in the air,” according to Ingram.

He remarks: “We’ve observed a significant increase in Russian violations of NATO airspace, pushing and testing the alliance to its limits, both politically and militarily.”

“Russian MiG-31 fighters intruded into Estonian airspace for 12 minutes in a bold stunt that put all of Europe on edge.”

In the past two weeks, Europe has witnessed numerous large drone sightings and coordinated sabotage activities that disrupted operations at major airports.

Drones were spotted flying over several Danish airports, leading to one of them closing for hours.

This followed a similar situation in which Russian drones violated Polish and Romanian airspace, alongside incursions by Russian fighter jets into Estonian airspace.

Ingram mentions that the Russian media and Kremlin spokespersons have been branding the recent breaches as fake news as part of a widespread disinformation campaign.

“The NATO airspace incursions I referred to earlier… were dismissed as fake news by Russian spokespersons,” he said.

“Russia’s deputy ambassador to the United Nations, Dmitri Polonsky, claimed there was no evidence supporting the allegations of Moscow’s incursions into NATO member airspace.”

However, the recent drone and jet incursions must deter future violations.

The initiative will establish a sophisticated, multi-layered air-defense system capable of detecting, tracking, and neutralizing rogue drones.

This will spare European allies from scrambling fighter jets and wasting millions on missiles in initial response measures.
