A young woman has responded to cruel trolls who refer to her as ‘The Hulk’ due to a rare condition she was born with.
Olivia Klopchin, 20, from Springfield, Vermont, USA, was diagnosed with a vascular malformation at the tender age of two months.

In her case, the condition primarily affects the veins in her arm, making it appear larger.
The veins in her arm are unusually wide and continuously expand, leading to blood clotting and swelling.
Initially, doctors believed it was merely a bruise, but as Olivia grew, her arm became significantly larger.
It wasn’t until her teenage years that she began to face bullying.
In an interview on Truly , Olivia shared: “Some of the most hurtful comments have come from online.
“When I was 12, someone from school messaged me in a fit of rage and called me the Hulk.”
Although it upset Olivia at the time, she recognizes her own beauty and has chosen to be an advocate instead of letting the bullies prevail.
She started sharing her experiences on social media to assist others facing similar struggles.
“I personally had never seen anyone else with this condition,” she explained.
“I wanted to raise awareness. It means a lot to me because I felt lost in my youth, as the only individuals I encountered with something similar were in a hospital.”
Today, Olivia has amassed thousands of followers online who commend her for sharing her story.
She expressed her desire to continue her social media presence to encourage others to embrace their differences.
“My message to the world from my story is that everyone is beautiful, and our differences shape who we are as individuals. We should stop hiding them,” she added.
“I am simply a beautiful person,” she continued. “Nothing will ever change that.”
What Is a Venous Malformation (VM)?
“A venous malformation (VM) is an area in the body where veins have not developed normally.
Veins in a VM are typically larger and more tangled than regular veins.
A venous (VEE-nis) malformation close to the skin usually appears as a maroon, blue, or purple spot.”
Children born with VMs may not see visible signs until later when the malformation has grown or the veins have stretched.
Venous malformations located deeper in the muscles or body might not be detected until a child experiences pain or swelling. A VM grows as the child grows and may become more pronounced following an injury or partial removal.”
