Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has lashed out at the governor of Bauchi state, Bala Mohammed, amid reports he will join the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
According to Wike, Bala had confided in him that former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, does not like him.
Wike said: “In 2022, when President Tinubu emerged as the presidential candidate of the APC, Governor Bala Mohammed flew down to Port Harcourt to meet me and said we have to support Tinubu, that he can never work with Atiku.
“It didn’t even take four days, the same Bala moved to support the same Atiku.
“Even this recent meeting we had at my Abuja residence, Bala said he knows Atiku hates him and that he’ll never support him..so that’s why he can’t go to APC and that we should reconcile in PDP .
“This same Bala has now moved to Atiku’s party. What kind of character is that?”
