TOTTENHAM legend Jermain Defoe has backed Roberto De Zerbi’s “wow football” to keep Spurs in the Prem.
De Zerbi was this week with the club 17th in the table and one point above the relegation places.

The Italian has seven games to save Spurs from the drop, starting with a trip to next week.
But Defoe, who scored 143 goals in 363 appearances for Tottenham, is confident De Zerbi is up to the task.
The former Spurs striker said: “He is someone that comes in with an unbelievable CV.
“When you look at his playing style, as football fans, you have to appreciate and enjoy the way they play.
“I remember that Brighton team, watching Brighton play, and thinking: ‘Wow, this is the right way to play football’.
“He is going into a massive football club. But he is someone with a good CV and someone who backs himself.
“I just hope this group of players can respond to that and just get the results that they need.
“A lot of the players haven’t experienced this before. The fans and the club have not been through this situation before.
“So, hopefully they can come out of it. And with his manager, I’m sure he’s good enough to get the results they need.”
Defoe, 43, retired from playing four years ago and followed that up by working as a coach in Spurs’ academy.
The ex striker has now taken the plunge into management, though, and has his first game in charge of Woking on Friday.
The National League side, who are sat 10th in the table and 11 points off the play-offs, are hosting Eastleigh.
Defoe said: “I’m someone who loves football and I want to do well. The main objective is, of course, to get promoted.”
