‘Hatred for Tinubu’ – Dumebi Kachukwu questions ADC’s ideology

Published on July 03, 2025 at 09:28 AM

Former presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Dumebi Kachukwu, has questioned the ideology of the newly unveiled coalition platform.

He claimed that hatred for President Bola Tinubu drives the coalition.

Kachukwu stated this while fielding questions on Arise Television’s Morning Show programme on Thursday.

He said that Nigerians are his major concern and that his focus is on how to solve the problems of Nigeria and Nigerians.

Kachukwu said: “The coalition, as far as I’m concerned, cannot be a coalition of strange bedfellows.”;

“What’s the ideology of the coalition? Hatred for Bola Tinubu. I can’t be part of a coalition that has no ideology beyond hating Bola Tinubu or just trying to procure power. That’s not my idea of politics. That’s not why I’m in politics.”;

“As far as I’m concerned, the Nigerians are my number one constituency. It is about solving the problems of Nigeria and Nigerians.”;
