JTBC’s upcoming drama “The Nice Guy”; has unveiled the first stills of Park Hoon’s character!
“The Nice Guy”; is a noir drama that follows Park Seok Chul (Lee Dong Wook), the eldest grandson of a third-generation gangster family with an unexpectedly pure heart, and his first love Kang Mi Young (Lee Sung Kyung), a woman who dreams of becoming a singer.
Park Hoon plays Kang Tae Hoon, the leader of Samjun Construction, a rival group to Myeongsan Industries where Park Seok Chul works. Kang Tae Hoon was once part of the same organization as Park Seok Chul. However, after falling for Kang Mi Young at first sight, he becomes caught in a tense and unstable love triangle with Park Seok Chul.
The newly released stills highlight Kang Tae Hoon’s powerful charisma. Wearing a perfectly tailored suit with every detail in place, Kang Tae Hoon stares straight ahead with unwavering focus. His sharp gaze reveals his determined personality, being someone who always gets what he wants. Kang Tae Hoon’s ruthless ambition leads him down a dangerous path filled with unstable relationships.
Park Hoon said, “Just from the title and synopsis, I could sense the raw nature of the story. I also really wanted to work with director Song Hae Sung, who directed one of my favorite films ‘Failan,’ and actor Lee Dong Wook, whom I had worked with on a previous project.”;
The actor went on to describe his character, Kang Tae Hoon, saying, “He is both a friend and a rival to Park Seok Chul. They walk the same path but are very different people. He may seem like a bad man, but he is also a good man. I think the relationship between Park Seok Chul and Kang Tae Hoon is one of the main aspects to watch in the series.
