LOOKING for some free or cheap entertainment options in February?

Your mobile phone network, TV provider, and even shopping like Prime are offering free trips to the cinema, days out for the family, TV and games. Here, we reveal how you can find and claim them.

FREE FOOD & DRINK

One great option for a bit of free grub is available to customers.

If you log in via Sky VIP, you can that resets every Wednesday.

This week’s gift is a free Taste the Difference pizza – but it’ll swap to something else on Wednesday, February 18.

To claim it, just go into the My Sky app, tap on Sky VIP, choose the Weekly Treat tile, and then redeem your code for use in-store.

You need to redeem each week’s code by Monday, and then use it by Tuesday.

Another good option is to sign up for a free membership in the My app.

This nets you a free regular hot drink and a slice of cake at John Lewis & Partners cafes.

Just sign in to the app and have your QR code ready at the checkout to bag your freebies.

For discounts, you’ve got a few options.

Three customers can , and can get £5 off at hundreds of and takeaways.

And for February only, you can get a choice of mains at Harvester for £10.

That’s via the Three+ rewards app, which is free to join.

customers can use their VeryMe Rewards app to get a 12-month membership to Eat Local for free.

That gets you two-for-one meals as well as 25 per cent off at loads of restaurants across the UK.

FREE CINEMA TICKETS & DAYS OUT

Let’s start with cinema tickets.

The best way to get free cinema tickets outright is via Sky.

If you’re a Sky Cinema subscriber, you can get .

You just need to head into the MySky app, go on to the Sky VIP tab (which is free to join), and then tap on the tile for free cinema tickets to redeem your code.

And if you’re looking for some discounted options, there are loads to try.

members can get , or you can upgrade them to Luxe seats for £15, so that’s effectively £7.50 each.

The Three+ rewards app (for Three customers) is also serving up at every weekend.

And Vodafone customers can get two Odeon tickets for £8 through its VeryMe Rewards, which is £4 each.

In terms of days out, you’ve got a few good choices too.

If you sign up to English Heritage using Three+, you get 25 per cent off the cost of an annual membership.

Once you have that, you then get totally free access to more than 400 sites.

As a bonus, adult members can bring up to six children under 18 with them for free.

For big discounts, you can get a free Kids Pass membership via Vodafone’s VeryMe Days Out.

That slashes up to 50 per cent off the price of hundreds of UK attractions, including aquariums, museums and .

FREE TV

First off, it’s worth mentioning that there are a few always-free TV services worth considering.

Your best bet here is – that’s free ad-supported streaming television. The catch, as the name suggests, is that you’ll have to sit through ads.

But there are no fees or sign-ups required.

Here are a few of the most popular options, so you’re bound to find at least a few that work on your device:

  • Tubi
  • Pluto TV
  • Plex
  • Xumo Play
  • Rakuten TV
  • Samsung TV Plus

In terms of free TV offers that you can claim at the moment, there are a few good options available in February.

Apple is still one of the rare platforms offering a free telly trial, so you can get seven days of .

And if you’ve recently bought a new iPhone , , Mac, or TV then you can get three months of Apple TV+ for free by tapping on the app within the first three months of setting up your device.

Some customers are also able to claim three months of Apple TV+ for free too (just look in your plan add-ons in the EE app).

If you have an (which is around half the usual price), Apple throws in an Apple TV+ membership for free for the duration.

For fans, you can bag free Disney+ subscription as a yearly benefit if you have a Club Lloyds account with Lloyds Bank.

The account has a £5 monthly fee, but that’s refunded each month that you pay in £2,000 or more.

And O2 customers can claim free Disney+ memberships.

For Classic Plans, you get three months, and for Plus plans, you get six months.

And if you have an Ultimate plan, you’ll get Disney+ included for the lifetime of your plan.

You can add it in the My O2 app.

It’s also worth mentioning that Sky customers can get Discovery+ for free with their membership.

On top of that, if you have a Sky Cinema subscription, then you’ll also get Paramount+ for free too.

Also, if you’ve never used Sky VIP before on the My Sky app, you should have a tile waiting in there for you to , typically worth up to £20. It’s yours to keep.

And if you’re looking for some cheap , – which is owned by Sky – is selling two plans at discounted rates.

The Entertainment Saver plan is available for £4.99 instead of £9.99 a month.

And the Entertainment & Cinema Saver is down to £8.99 from £19.98 a month.

For free games, .

For a start, there are free mobile games that have loads of content:

  • League of Legends: Wild Rift (mobile version of League of Legends)
  • Diablo Immortal (RPG)
  • Polytopia (4X strategy game)
  • Hearthstone (deck-building card game)
  • OldSchool RuneScape (massively multiplayer online RPG)
  • Kingdom Rush (tower defence)

And these free console and PC titles are brilliant too:

  • Fortnite (multiplayer shooter)
  • Roblox (metaverse world-building game)
  • Genshin Impact (RPG)
  • The Sims 4 (simulation)
  • Fall Guys (party-royale obstacle course game)

  • Rocket League (football, but with rocket-powered cars)

If you’ve got a membership then you’ve got two options via Netflix Games.

For a start, you get access to loads of premium mobile games, including the recently added Red Dead Redemption (a console hit by Rockstar Games, the makers of Grand Theft Auto).

And on your TV, the Netflix Games tab gives you access to that you can play by using your phone as a controller – like Boggle and Pictionary.

For Amazon Prime members, there are two options to look out for, too.

Firstly, each month, Amazon that you can claim to keep forever.

So even if your Prime membership runs out, you still get to hold on to these titles.

The selection – which is usually worth somewhere between £100 and £250 – refreshes each month. So make sure to claim February’s lot before it vanishes.

You can find them over at the Amazon Luna website.

In addition to that, Amazon has a service called Luna Premium, which usually costs £8.99 a month.

It lets you stream console-grade games over the internet without the need for a physical console. You just need a joypad.

But if you’re a Prime member, you get to enjoy – including Hogwarts Legacy, which lets you explore the magical world of .

About half of those 50 games come under Amazon’s ‘GameNight’ category, which means they’re meant to be played with family members or pals in the living room.

For those games, you’ll use your phone as the controller.

That includes a wild AI-powered game called Courtroom Chaos: Starring where the legendary rapper presides over a court hearing where you and your fellow players take on the roles of plaintiff, defendant, and witnesses.

You can also find these games via the Amazon Luna website or Luna app on your TV or Fire Stick.

Some EE plans also give you free access to Apple Arcade for six months, and others give you Apple One included as standard (which also includes Apple Arcade).

It’s a selection of more than 200 premium games for your iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV.

And they have the benefit of not having any ads or microtransactions, which might make you feel more comfortable about having your child play them.

You can also get Apple Arcade for free for three months when you buy a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, or Mac.

Just go into the Apple Arcade app within the first three months of setting up your new device to claim the offer.

If you’re looking for discounted titles, you could try the Humble Bundle.

It wraps together several games each month for a discount, with and donates cash to charities in the process.
