Former England midfielder Paul Scholes has backed summer signing Alejandro Garnacho to succeed at his new club, Chelsea.
The Blues signed the 21-year-old Argentine from Manchester United during the summer transfer window.
Speaking on The Overlap Fan Debate, Scholes said: “Chelsea are almost the best of the rest under the top three [teams], and they needed investment in the right areas. I think he [Garnacho] will be good for you,” the Manchester United legend then told Rory Jennings, a Chelsea supporter and football influencer. I don’t think he’ll be disruptive [in Maresca’s squad]. I hope he’s, but I don’t think he’ll.”
Garnacho is expected to make his Chelsea debut later this month when they face Brentford.
