Future of Holly Willoughby’s £10million Netflix show revealed as co-host breaks silence on Bear Hunt fate amid axe fears

BEAR Grylls has broken his silence on the future of Celebrity Bear Hunt. following question marks over a second series.

The show – starring , and hosted by , aired on Netflix earlier this year and saw .

The Sun exclusively revealed how – which saw the show hit the £10M mark to make.

But now survival expert Bear has insisted that the show IS coming back.

Talking on BBC at the weekend, he said: “God willing, we are bringing Bear Hunt back.

“And we’re hoping to do it live so it’s going to be a live version, which have never done before – raw, real, hunt them down!”;;

But if it does come back it sounds like he would want Holly to come back on it with him, as he couldn’t stop gushing about the former host.

Bear said: “Holly was so fun to work with, I’d never had that before working alongside someone like that, she hasn’t had an easy journey but what a great girl she did brilliantly, she really did.”;;

Unfortunately the viewing figures didn’t quite match up to the substantial hype around the show, which included celebrities ranging from , , i and .

AXE FEARS

The Sun revealed earlier this month that the reality is by Netflix despite several meetings.

Bosses want to bring it back but hosts Bear and Holly could face pay cuts if they do.

A cheaper location is also being sought, as well as plans for fewer expensive celebrities.

A source said: “It got excellent reviews and was a brilliant production.

“Bosses were happy with its performance.

“Yet if it is recommissioned, cuts will 100 per cent be made and this could — both Holly and Bear as well as the celebs.

“All measures are being explored.

“As to location, think Clacton or , not .”;;

Netflix was approached for a comment.
