A WEALTHY Russian construction tycoon has been arrested after a glamour model was left fighting for her life with horrific head injuries.
Dmitry Kuzmin, 42, is accused of causing “serious bodily harm” to Anzhelika Tartanova, 33, after she tried to end their six-month romance.

Friends say the “controlling and jealous” boss turned violent after she told him she wanted out.
Tartanova told relatives he banned her from seeing her 16-year-old son and sister before the alleged attack which left her “close to death”.
Kuzmin reportedly treated the model “like a doll” to Kuzmin, showering her with gifts, but cutting her off from family.
It is alleged she was beaten after saying she was leaving him.
She was then thrown into the street with severe head wounds and only survived after a passerby raised the alarm and called an ambulance.
It is claimed that Kuzmin then masqueraded as Tartanova for a week, using her phone to message her friends and tell them she was fine.
The businessman was later seen in a court cage as he was arrested pending further investigations.
Tartanova is still battling for life in Moscow’s Pirogov Hospital after undergoing emergency brain surgery.
She is conscious, but barely able to speak.
Medics say she lay in hospital for days, badly beaten, swollen and drifting in and out of consciousness, before she was finally able to whisper her first and last name.
During the hunt for her, cops found her diary describing a turbulent relationship with a boyfriend.
In it, she called herself “the most beautiful and sexiest girl on planet Earth” and wrote that her lover “cannot eat, sleep, or breathe” without her.
According to REN TV, the model told doctors she was attacked on November 23 by a man she knew in a flat on Universitetsky Prospekt.
Tartanova is an actress, model and former tanning salon owner who recently moved to Moscow after a divorce.
Her teenage son lives with relatives in Krasnodar.
In her flat, relatives found her phone, passport, diary, documents, half-packed suitcases, and keys left in the postbox.
There were no signs of struggle, with neighbours telling her relatives they had last seen her leaving with an older man – believed to be Kuzmin – shortly before she disappeared.

Telegram news channel Baza reported she had argued violently with the rich businessman shortly before vanishing.
Cops are trying to reconstruct how the glamorous model ended up beaten nearly to death and abandoned.
They are reviewing CCTV, phone records, and the timeline of her movements between November 21 and the day she was admitted to hospital.
A commenter said: “It’s brutal.
“How could you do that to someone? I hope she pulls through and that scum gets what’s coming to him.”
For now, the focus is on stabilising her condition, reports say.
