The expanded 48-team World Cup kicks off on June 11 with the opening match at Mexico City’s iconic Estadio Azteca.
But ‘s governing body is understood to want a major show in each host country as part of its biggest-ever tournament.
According to The Athletic, Canadian singers , Alanis Morissette and Alessia Cara will perform at Canada’s first group stage match against Bosnia and Herzegovina on June 12 in Toronto.

The multi-Grammy-Award winning Mexican rock band Mana, popstar Alejandro Fernandez, and singer Belinda are just a few of the artists preparing to perform.

The tournament will be staged across 16 cities in North America, with the final taking place in New York on July 19.
