The full-back had received a cross-field pass from a team-mate in the 31st minute but mis-controlled the ball with his head.

He was forced to chase after the ball to stop it from going out for a Burnley throw-in.

Kamason did keep it in play, but ended up wiping out the poor man standing next to the touchline.

The wonderkid had slid towards the ground and took the linesman with him.

Kamason immediately stood up and tried to help the official to his feet and even handed him his flag.

The linesman initially looked like he had picked up an injury as he tried out his left leg.

But he was fine to continue after consulting with a fellow official on the touchline.

It was only the first moment of drama in the game as United went on to draw the game and finish with ten players.

United were 1-0 up at the time of the linesman incident after Benedito Mantato’s early opener.

Kamason was one of United’s best players and should have had an assist when his cross found Jim Thwaites, but he could only fire against the bar.

Burnley then equalised through Zach Johnson after unleashing a rocket into the top corner.

But United’s game unravelled when defender Daniel Armer was given a straight red card for lunging in on an opponent.

Kamason did have a chance to win the game after striking at goal after a mazy run, but was thwarted by keeper Lewis Forshaw.
