President Bola Tinubu met with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, and some chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Those present at the meeting include the former Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose; former governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom; and former governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu.

The meeting was held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Saturday evening.

Disclosing this to DAILY POST, an anonymous source privy to the meeting said: “Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, President Bola Tinubu, former Governors of Benue and Abia States, Samuel Ortom and Okezie Ikpeazu respectively, met at the President at the Presidential Villa, Abuja today.”;
Details of the meeting were yet to be disclosed as at press time.

During the Sallah break on June 9, Fayose had visited Tinubu at his Lagos residence.

Addressing journalists after the visit, Fayose said he met with the president to encourage him.

Fayose insists that he always believed in Tinubu’s leadership even while he was a governor elected on the platform of PDP.

The PDP chieftain said Tinubu deserved commendation because he is stabilising the economy.
