A WOMAN sliced off her partner’s genitals in a frenzied stabbing attack before going shopping with her hands covered in blood, it is alleged.
The horror claims surrounding the violent death in Bilbao, northern Spain, emerged as police confirmed the arrest of the suspect on suspicion of murder.

The 55-year-old woman is South American and the victim has been described as a 67-year-old “European”. Detectives have refused to confirm his nationality.
The woman was arrested this morning at a property in Uribarri, a residential neighbourhood of Bilbao.
The Ertzaintza, the autonomous police force for the Basque country, were called to reports of a suspected murder.
At the scene officers found the body of a man “with clear signs of having suffered a violent death”.
The woman was also at the home and confessed to her partners murder, police said.
She was arrested at the scene as a murder probe was launched into the disturbing case.
Cops declined to comment on the genital slash and shopping claims first aired by Spanish TV station Telecinco.
Neighbours said the couple lived in a fifth-floor rented flat and described the victim as a bar owner who had lived in the area all his life.
His partner had moved in with him around four years ago, they added.
