The Nigeria National League, NNL, has extended the date for the mid-season transfer window and registration of new players for the second stanza.

The window which was initially scheduled to close on Saturday, 31 January has been extended to Friday, 6 February 2026.

The NNL Chief of Operating Officer, Danlami Alanana disclosed this on Friday.

He stated that the decision was reached after considering the strong appeal by the clubs on the deadline.

“We had to now shift the deadline from Saturday the 31st of January to Friday 6th February,2026 which aligns with the provisions of the governing rules and regulations.” Alanana disclosed to the NNL media.

The second stanza is expected to commence next month.
