A VILE predator dubbed “The Coronation Street Rapist” has died in prison aged 69.

Davies, from Bolton, was formerly known as Andrew Barlow and Andrew Longmire and would prey on women he knew were home alone.
It’s believed he died from natural causes on February 28, reports Manchester Evening News .
His death has come as a relief to his victims with one telling the outlet it was a “very difficult feeling to handle”.
In 1987, Davies had raped her in her own bed at knifepoint and she said “I still relive what he did to me”.
Davies, who was locked up at Category C prison, HMP Moorland, was set free after 34 years behind bars but was recalled just six weeks later after breaching his license conditions.
