MOISE KOUAME was brought a wheelchair after collapsing to the ground with cramps following his dramatic round one win at the Miami Open.
Kouame, 17, earned his first ever tour level triumph by beating Zachary Svajda 5-7 6-4 6-4.

In doing so at 17 years and 13 days old, the Frenchman became the youngest male player to win a match at Masters 1000 level since in 2003.
By the end of the two-hour-and 17-minute tussle, Kouame looked worse for wear.
The teenager was suffering with body cramps and rolled his serve in on match point.
When Svajda’s return missed long, Kouame collapsed to the ground.
He subsequently called the physio on and was brought a wheelchair, although eventually was able to make his way off court without needing it.
Kouame, the first player born in 2009 to win an ATP Tour match, will have to regroup before facing No21 seed Jiri Lehecka in round two.
The Parisian has been working hard on ‘ lower rung tours so far in 2026.
He began the season by winning a pair of ITF tournaments in France.

The prodigious talent subsequently qualified for the main draw at the ATP 250 event in Montpellier – losing in three sets to Aleksandar Kovacevic on his tour level debut.
Kouame has since made quarter-final and semi-final runs at Challenger events in Thionville and Lille respectively.
World No385 Kouame is not the only teenager to have shone so far in Miami.
Spaniard Rafael Jodar, 19, reached round two by beating Yannick Hanfmann 6-4 4-6 6-1.
