Why boob jobs are more mainstream now than ever before

STEPHAN Hannan, Clinical Services Director at The Harley Medical Group said breast augmentation continues to be one of the most sought-after cosmetic procedures.

He told Fabulous: “In recent years, breast augmentation has become significantly more mainstream.

“This shift is largely driven by increased visibility – with celebrities, influencers and the wider general public sharing their surgical experiences more openly than in the past.

“By discussing procedures publicly and documenting their journeys on social media, much of the stigma that once surrounded cosmetic surgery has been reduced.

“The conversation around breast surgery today is more transparent, empowering patients to explore their options while feeling informed and supported.

“Cosmetic surgery is now part of a broader, more normalised conversation, but responsible care remains fundamental.”

He added that every individual, whether a public figure or private patient, should be assessed holistically to ensure the procedure is both safe and suitable for them.

The medical professional shared: “Our priority is to support patients in making decisions that are medically sound, psychologically healthy, and reflective of their own aspirations – not external influences.”
