Two Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), House of Representatives members, representing Fika/Fune and Bade/Jakusko Federal Constituencies in Yobe state, Engr Muhammad Buba Kajere and Hassan Kaikaku Jakduwa have dumped the party.
A letter of resignation signed by Engr. Jajere and obtained by DAILY POST revealed that the decision was made after a careful consideration of his personal convictions and future political direction.

“I believe it is in my best interest to step aside from the party at this time in view of the unresolved internal crisis of the party at the National level”, he said.

Similarly, Hon. Hassan Kaikaku Jakduwa, the member representing Bade/Jakusko Federal Constituency, noted that his decision to resign from the party came after a thorough assessment of the current political realities and his unwavering commitment to better serve the good people of Bade/Jakusko Federal Constituency.

“Politics, to me, has always been about service, responsibility and the collective progress of our people.

“At every step, my priority remains the welfare, unity and development of our communities.

“I firmly believe that this decision will position me to continue that service with greater focus and effectiveness,” Hon. Jakduwa said.

The lawmakers, however, failed to disclose their next political party.
