SAUDI boxing guru Turki Alalshikh has denied rumours of a Bristol City takeover bid.
The chairman of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, who masterminds huge boxing fights in the Middle East, was the subject of recent links to Ashton Gate.

They sprung up amid murmurs that he is looking to add an English football team to his formidable sports portfolio.
But Alalshikh – worth an estimated £2billion – has stated in plain terms that the Robins aren’t in his crosshairs.
He wrote on X : “It is not true that I will buy Bristol City FC [thumbs up].”
Steve Lansdown took ownership of the club in 2002.
In February he played down talk of a potential buyout, and a run to the play-offs followed soon afterwards.
Former chairman Simon Jordan claims that Alalshikh actually has his eyes on two other second-tier outfits – and .
Jordan also says he tried and failed to turn Alalshikh’s head away from Palace’s south London rivals and towards a club in need.
He told talkSPORT : “I’ve told him and tried to talk him out of Millwall because I don’t think it’s a proper football club, but that’s a different discussion.
“But it is Millwall, and he likes Southampton.
“I suggested Sheffield Wednesday to him. He doesn’t want Sheffield Wednesday.”
Wednesday fans are still pleading with owner Dejphon Chanshiri to finally sell up.
The club is in dire straits financially, and owners have failed to pay players or staff on time at various points this year.
