Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has admonished the new Grand Khadi in the state, Abba Alhaji Mammadi, to be guided by honesty, fairness, and justice to all without recourse to political, religious, or ethno-cultural differences.
Buni gave the warning shortly after he presided over the swearing-in of the new Grand Khadi, Special Advisers, and Permanent Secretaries at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Damaturu.
He said their appointments were based on merit, commitment, and loyalty, hence advised them to strengthen due process, be proactive, and inject fresh ideas to facilitate effective and efficient service delivery in the state.
“Government would continue to equip and reposition the Public Service to be more responsive to our current demands for speedy and effective implementation of our policies and programmes to meet the yearnings and aspirations of our people,” he assured.
Abba Alhaji Mammadi, a jurist with 29 years of experience, had served in various capacities meritoriously in the State Judicial Service until his appointment as the Grand Khadi.
