The Chinese government has expressed its strong support for the administration of President Bola Tinubu in light of military action threats from United States President Donald Trump.
During a press conference on Tuesday, Mao Ning, spokesperson for China’s foreign ministry, stated that China firmly opposes any nation using religion and human rights as a pretext to meddle in the internal affairs of other countries, as well as threatening them with sanctions and military force.
Ning was responding to a question regarding Trump's military threats towards Nigeria over alleged persecution of Christians.
