RAIL passengers to a major UK airport are warned of all-day delays after a train derailed.
A freight train came off the tracks near Bilbrook in Wolverhampton, hitting services to and from Birmingham Airport.
The incident is causing widespread disruption across the West Midlands with cancellations expected to continue throughout the day.
The derailment damaged overhead electric wires and their supports.
It has left key routes out of action and trains unable to run between Wolverhampton, Stafford and Shrewsbury in either direction.
Services run by Avanti West Coast, CrossCountry, London Northwestern Railway, Transport for Wales and West Midlands Railway are all affected.
