THIS Morning doctor Zoe Williams has revealed she is due to undergo surgery next week.
will be having a spinal operation on Tuesday after suffering from back problems for months.

Zoe appeared on the sofa to confirm she would be having the operation as well as taking some time off from the show.
Speaking to hosts and , Dr Zoe said: “I am going to have my surgery and I have been reassured by my surgeon that I can have my operation and walk out the same day.
“I am hoping to not take too much time off – maybe four weeks off work and then be up and about again.
“I have been struggling with this back issue for some time.
“I have tried everything you could to be strong and done physio.
“But it has come to a point now where I’ve been assured that surgery is the only option.”
She assured that the operation would see her return home on the same day but that she would be standing down from her role on the show to recover for a month.
Dr Zoe further admitted that her doctors revealed that Zoe’s exercise could have contributed to her back issues.
She is best known for her TV appearances on as well as being Sun Health’s resident columnist.

Zoe further clarified her condition on as she shared a post to discuss her condition.
She wrote: “My diagnosis is of severe spinal stenosis and the surgery is called a lumber decompression.
“The surgeon will be removing overgrown ligaments and bone which are a result of degenerative changes to my spine.
“These structures, as well as a slightly bulging disc are encroaching on my spinal canal meaning that the nerves inside my spinal column are being compressed.
“It’s different to sciatica, which in many cases resolves over time. I’ve come to learn that my condition will not resolve as it is due to degenerative change, and will likely get worse with time.”
