Knifeman on loose as teenage boy, 19, stabbed to death in Powerleague football car park sparking murder probe

A TEENAGER who was stabbed to death in a Powerleague car park has been named and pictured for the first time.

Mohammed Afzal, 19, was attacked shortly before 9pm on Friday in a car park on Market Street in Bury, Greater Manchester.

Mohammed sustained numerous stab wounds and died later from his injuries.

Three teenagers were detained on suspicion of  murder  in what is being considered a  “targeted” attack  and are currently in custody.

One was arrested at Manchester Airport early on Sunday, while the other two were arrested in Bury and Bolton on Saturday.

All three of the arrested suspects are male and aged 19 with the latest being arrested at  Manchester  Airport at 4.30am this morning.

Mohamed’s family are being supported by specially trained officers.

The  investigation led by Greater Manchester  Police ‘s Major Incident Team continues.
