SPL: Iheanacho inspires Celtic to dramatic win on debut

Kelechi Iheanacho scored on his debut as Celtic defeated Kilmarnock 2-1 at the Rugby Park on Sunday.

Iheanacho, who joined Brendan Rodgers’ side on a free transfer two weeks ago was named among the the substitutes.

Celtic took the lead 10 minutes into the second half through Daizen Maeda.

DMaeda nodded home from inside the box following an excellent delivery from Marcelo Saracchi.

Kilmarnock levelled courtesy of David Watson’s header seven minutes from time.

Iheanacho, who replaced Maeda 20 minutes from time fired home the winning goal from the spot deep into stoppage time.
