"I Dropped £260 on the Space NK Advent Calendar, but I'm Frustrated – They Say It's Worth £1,150, and I'm Not Buying It!"

IT SEEMS that everyone and their mums have a beauty Advent Calendar this year.

And while they can be a cost-effective way to try lots of goodies in the lead up to , it can be hard figuring out which one is for you.

But one woman, Georgia Blush, has taken to social media to share her thoughts on this year’s Space NK Beauty , and she wasn’t impressed.

She said: “I can’t believe it is that time of year again.

“Well, I’ll be opening up my advent calendar every single day on to see if it is worth the I paid and apparently this one is worth over £1150.”

Georgia revealed she paid £260 for hers and was eager to see if it really was worth the amount.

The first issue she had was that she couldn’t find the numbers easily as the pattern on the box was so busy.

But once she did find number 1, she was left unimpressed.

She said: “I’m really sad. I thought they were wrapped and I also thought Space NK had clues on what day was the next day and now I’m really sad.”

Georgia explained that the boxes had no wrapping paper, just the product, which made the Advent Calendar feel less luxe than in previous years.

She also said they used to have ‘clues’ to figure out what was coming in the next day’s box, which they didn’t do this year.

However, the gift itself was a great surprise, the first item was a full-sized Tatcha brightening serum worth £86.

The clip soon went viral on her TikTok account @ georgia.blush.social with over 1.6 million views and 70k likes.

Many took to the comments to share their thoughts on the Advent Calendar and didn’t agree the lack of wrapping paper made it any less special.

One person wrote: “Then not being wrapped is such a non issue.”

Another replied: “To you yeah, if I spent loads on an advent calendar I’d want them wrapped too.”

“Less waste. Enjoy your new product,” penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: “Personally I hate waste and excess packaging so I’d prefer it this way!”
