SKY will be shutting down three channels permanently this week while also rebranding a slew of others.
This latest shake-up comes after a month of changes for customers.
On Wednesday, September 30, Sky Witness+1 (Satellite 207) will be scrapped as well as two other channels.
Sky Atlantic +1 (Satellite 208-209 Wales) and Sky Crime +1 (Satellite 221-222 Scotland ) will also be leaving the service.
That isn’t the only change customers can expect as the month comes to a close.
A Sky blog post confirmed that there will be some channel rebranding taking place this week.
As of today (September 28), Nicktoons (Satellite 605 – Sky Glass/Stream 206) will be rebranding to Nick SpongeBob.
Sky Jurassic (Satellite 303 – Sky Glass/Stream 303) will also be changing its name to SkyOriginalsHD.
Both are expected to be temporary changes, according to the company.
From Tuesday, Sky History 2 (Satellite 163 (168 NI and ROI) – Sky Glass/Stream (143 – 139 ROI) will be rebranding to MysteryX on satellite and Mystery X HD on SOIP.
Sky only announces its channel swaps for the week ahead so October, changes, if any will be announced in due course.
The broadcaster often makes changes to its schedule to reflect seasonal events such as the and the festive season.
