Maduka Okoye says he can take pride in his performance despite Udinese’s 1–0 home defeat to Juventus, DAILY POST reports.

Jeremie Boga netted the decisive goal for Juventus seven minutes before the break.

Okoye was at his best in the game, making a number of vital saves.

The Nigeria international twice denied Boga as well as Manuel Locatelli, Kenan Yildiz, and Fabio Miretti.

Udinese also had their own chances in the game, but failed to convert them allowing Juventus to return home with the maximum points.

Okoye was disappointed the Zebras failed to salvage at least one point from the game.

“Today we had the opportunity to get at least a point, but Juventus is a very strong team. Now we have to focus on the next match.
I’m happy with my performance, but in the end, what matters is that the team gets points,” he told the club’s official website.

Udinese remain in 11th position on the Serie A table with 36 points despite the defeat.
