WHEN Adam Thomas announced he’d quit the Thomas brothers’ podcast in December last year, rumours of a sibling feud spread like wildfire.
Although his exit turned out to be a prank, we can reveal the trio weren’t hard pushed to act out the dramatic bust-up – and the truth about their difficult relationship is, in fact, even more troubling after Adam’s very public on-air meltdown this week.

Adam got very upset on his family podcast this week while talking about his row on I’m A Celebrity
Ryan is said to be furious with his younger twin brothers, and , after two separate incidents on reality TV are feared to be “damaging the brand”.
Until recently, the popular stars have been best known for their loud laughs and being TV’s typical “Mr Nice Guys”.
But after and , the brothers appear to have threatened their reputation by competing on the shows.
A source told The Sun: “Ryan was never a fan of reality TV, but after acting work dried up after leaving , he soon had to change his tune.
“He knows more than most about the pitfalls of a bad edit or unexpected scenario that can send careers spiralling.
“That’s why he’s always been so protective about what he and his brothers do on screen.
“He was bitterly disappointed by Scott’s row on and fuming when he heard about Adam losing his temper filming I’m A in South .”
Ryan laughed off the drama with Adam on their podcast as being “juicy” television viewing – but seeing his reaction play out on-screen months later is a different story.
The Sun revealed Waterloo Road star after clashing with former footballer Jimmy Bullard during a Bushtucker Trial and this week viewers got to see it first hand.
In shock scenes, the 37-year-old “totally lost it” and fans were left horrified as an ugly row erupted when ex-footballer “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here”.
Jimmy laughed as .
Things escalated when they were reunited and Adam furiously stood over Jimmy yelling at him for quitting and “taking him down” too.
The Sun can reveal at Jimmy was cut from the show.
Jimmy and Adam haven’t spoken since filming ended in September, but are due to come face to face
Former footballer Jimmy is yet to comment publicly on the fallout, but opened up about how he had a during his exit interview and he has vowed to tell his side of the story on Friday.
Adam has addressed the incident on a number of occassions, and last week said that following the turmoil, which has also seen him embroiled in a.
And in a new episode of his family podcast, At Home With The Thomas Bros , Adam admitted he was extra hurt when his family failed to watch the show’s first few episodes.

He told twin Scott and older sibling Ryan: “I’m doing a f***ing rant. I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of here is now on television, bearing in mind that I did this five, six months ago now.
“The first episode came out on TV and none of yous watched it. None of you.”
Getting increasingly upset he continued: “It’s like you doing Dancing On Ice, right, and me not f***ing watching it.
“I’m not asking you to watch the whole thing or the whole series, all I wanted you to do was watch the first episode or ring me up and go, ‘Hey Adam, good luck tonight, I know you went through hell in there’.
“Basically, I was a little bit hurt. I said to Caz, it was the first episode and I was like, ‘How come none of the boys have rang me or messaged me?’
“And then it was after the show and I’d still not heard anything and I was like, ‘I feel a little bit hurt’.”
He added: “I expected better from you, Ryan because you’re my big brother, and you should have been there for me.
“You should have been there for me and you weren’t.”
The star then revealed that he had even called out both Ryan and Scott in their family group chat following the show, asking why they hadn’t reached out.
News of the argument came after Scott’s second stint in Love Island in January, when he had to be .
The pair squared up to each other after a war of words escalated – leaving viewers stunned.
Scott had taken offence at something Luca said about him and his romantic interest, .

Our source added: “It’s really unfortunate that both [Ryan’s] brothers got into a spot of bother on screen.
“It’s totally at odds with their reputation for laughing all the time and being happy-go-lucky.
“Love Island, and I’m A Celebrity, especially, get millions of viewers. It’s sad that their not-so finest moments will be out there for the world to see.
“It definitely paints them in a different light and threatens to damage their ‘nice guy’ brand.”
TV flops
The trio have achieved huge popularity on social media – where , and Ryan, 41, regularly film skits and pranks with each other and their families.
But they have had less success with their TV work.
Last year, Ryan and Adam’s ITV game show was
Adam – who was canned from hosting I’m A Celeb’s spin-off series Extra Camp in 2019 – moaned “I don’t know what I’m doing wrong” as he revealed the news to fans.
Ex- actor Ryan was at the heart of one of the in 2018 when actress accused him of “like a boxer hits a bag”, calling him a “woman beater”, after an innocent playfight.

In fact, , and after leaving the show to boos, Roxanne’s career was over.

Meanwhile, for Ryan, it was the launchpad of his soaring reality TV career – going on to win in 2024 and compete in , and with , where he met his fiancée .
His career started at 16 playing Jason Grimshaw in Corrie, which led Adam and Scott to become known locally as The Corrie Boys.
Ryan had been forced to grow up fast, having become a parental figure in his brothers’ lives after their father, singer Doug James, walked out on them when the twins were just five.
Adam added: “Ryan adopted the father-figure role straight away; I was in awe of him.
“He was 16 when he joined Coronation Street and became the breadwinner of our family.

“As teenagers, Scott and I were going off the rails. Ryan saw what was happening and managed to keep us on the straight and narrow – he would drag us away from the park when we were hanging out with the wrong people.
“We hated him for ruining our fun, but now I see that he was trying to look out for us.”
It’s why Ryan’s disappointment about his brothers’ behaviour on reality TV will cut deep.
Adam – who followed in Ryan’s acting footsteps with major roles in and – added: “Ryan paid for my drama lessons and put the clothes on my back. We wouldn’t be where we are, or who we are today, without him.”
However, their TV and social media success has been blighted by a series of money disasters, which have led to between the brothers.
Not only was Ryan declared bankrupt with tax debts in 2013, but Adam and Scott also lost £205,000 from the collapse of their food firm, F4 Thoughts, in 2024.
Adam’s restaurant business, Gately Bar & Grill, went into liquidation in 2023, which saw his food venture, The Spinn, shut down.
Most recently, the trio’s Oh My Glaze Restaurants Ltd company was dissolved – pouring water on Adam’s dream of opening a chain of eateries linked to his hot sauce brand.
The boys set up the media firm Thomas Brothers Entertainment in May and are currently running nine other businesses between them in a bid to keep the cash rolling in.
Pals say they’re “fiercely competitive” behind the scenes, each one desperate to be the bigger star.
They faced a backlash last year when Adam announced he’d left At Home With The Thomas Bros, saying: “I’m really sorry, but I just wanted to be honest about my decision to leave the Thomas Bros podcast.

“It’s not been an easy decision, but I have to do what’s right for me at this moment in time.”
It turned out to be a publicity stunt to promote a guest listener joining the podcast.
The brothers apologised for the prank and now Ryan will have to see how much damage limitation he’ll have to do following Adam’s I’m A Celebrity row.
In the meantime, he’ll be hoping his siblings play nice and stay on-brand so they can secure their long-awaited hope of landing a family reality TV series.
