A GLAM Russian influencer has received a grovelling apology after she was branded a “harlot” by a pro-Putin TV brute for speaking out against the regime.

Victoria Bonya, 46, recently in a dramatic U-turn after years of being a pro-Kremlin cheerleader.

In response, top Russian political TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov called her a “worn-out harlot”

But Solovyov has now been forced to make a humiliating on-screen apology for his foul-mouthed lashing against the ex-reality TV star.

“Of course, I should apologise,” said a humbled Solovyov on air during an interview with Bonya.

He first told her she “looked great”.

He added: “You’re absolutely right, of course, I was overly emotional. And of course, whatever the motivation, I should have been more strict with my words spoken live on air.”

Last week, the ex-reality TV star told her 13 million followers on social media that the people of Russia are “suffering greatly” after years of war and are on the brink of “snapping”.

Her volatile review of the current state of the Kremlin was quickly noted among loyal pro-Putin supporters.

Solovyov, one of Russia’s state TV’s most well-known political presenters, issued a scathing response to her criticism.

He accused Bonya of working ‌for the West and called for her to be investigated over the accusations which have now been seen by tens of millions.

Among the vicious insults, Solovyov said: “It’s not up to this worn-out harlot to open her dirty mouth and clog up the information space.”

Bonya, who lives in Monaco, has since hit back denying she is a “foreign agent”.

She called Solovyov “an enemy of the people” and demanded he be taken off air for the comments.

A raging Bonya, also a single mother, made an appeal to women across Russia to rise up against sexist comments being normalised on state TV.

In response to that criticism, Solovyov said: “At the same time, it’s strange to label me as the country’s leading misogynist, because I have a huge number of women on air.”

But he quickly moved to defend Putin again, denying Russians were frightened of the dictator.

“This immediately triggered my reaction, and it made me furious, especially when it was noticed at the top,” he said.

“People in Russia love Putin, not fear him.

“That’s why people come out when Putin passes somewhere, and Putin notices, stops the car, and goes to talk to the people.”

He claimed that Bonya, based in Monaco, did not realise there was a war going on in Russia.

“For us, the war is here and now. There was quite a few hits in Tuapse today. We have hits all over the place.

Bonya – until now seen as a pro-Putin figure who has proudly worn clothing emblazoned with the warmonger’s face – asked the propagandist: “Don’t you think men are failing in world politics?”

Solovyov taunted her: “Don’t you think this is misandry?”

She asked: “Who brought humanity into this mess?”

He said: “Men raised by women, because every man was born of a mother.”

Russian state media regulator Roskomnadzor has opened a probe into Solovyov’s foul-mouthed attack on Bonya at a time when children could have been watching.
