THIS is the shocking moment an out-of-control passenger ferry smashes into a waterfront mansion after ploughing through an moored boat.
CCTV footage shows the massive stern ripping through the iron railing at the harbourside terrace, shattering the paving under its hull as as it scraped away.

Moments before the crash, the boat surged toward the property, crashing into the smaller vessel tied out front and shunting it aside.
The shocking collision occurred at the Istanbul home of Derin Mermerci, a prominent figure in Turkish high society.
Derin shared the dramatic footage with her followers on after the accident saying the experience left her “shaking”.
According to local outlet NTV , she said: “I have never experienced anything like this, my hands are shaking.

“They destroyed my dock. I will file a lawsuit, my children are in this house.
“They have experienced a terrible trauma.”
Despite the terror, she thanked god that no one was hurt.
She said: “I suppose this is what people mean when they say, ‘Better damage to property than to people.’ We were very lucky.”
While no injuries were reported, extensive damage was caused to both the mansion and the boat moored outside.

Another video posted to her social media showed scattered garden furniture and broken railings on the mansion’s pier after the incident.
She said the ferry collided as she was about to go to sleep.
She reportedly went to the police station to give a statement about her frightening experience.
In another post, she added, “Do good and cast it into the sea” – a Turkish proverb about good deeds eventually being rewarded.
Derin is a social media content creator and a well-known figure in Turkish society who posts about fashion, style and lifestyle.
She is a member of the wealthy Mermerci family, and her father Mehmet Ata Mermerci founded textile company Akfil Tekstil.
Derin was educated in Istanbul before continuing part of her studies in the United States.
In a separate incident across the Aegean Sea, a in June.
The boat – carrying 100-passengers – slammed head-first into the massive vessel just off the coast of the Greek holiday island of Crete.
Shocking footage captured the moment the 600ft-long vessel hit into the hull of the cargo ship and crunching through its port side.
One of the ships frantically blared its horn to warn the other of the impending doom.
But neither vessel appeared to be capable of turning off-course.
A nail-biting clip zoomed in on the exact moment the two massive ships rammed into one another.
Thankfully no one was injured in the dramatic crash.
