THE Met Office has revealed where the first frost of autumn looks set to arrive in the UK.

According to experts, October 8 will bring a morning chill to many Brits.
figures show that certain areas of the UK will face temperatures just a couple of degrees above freezing over night and in the early morning.
Met Office meteorologist Kathryn Chalk told The Sun that we will be seeing an increase of “mist and dense fog” at the break of day from this week.
And the “” of autumn 2026 could be about to arrive, as parts of the North of England as well as Scotland experience temperatures of around 2C on Thursday.
The forecast shows that places such as Skipton and High Bentham in will drop that low at around 8am.
Meanwhile, many places in Scotland, including Aberfoyle, Cumnock, Biggar and Moffat, will also get down to 2C at the same time.

Temperatures this cold in the morning usually bring frosty conditions with it and icy crystals can expect to be seen on grass, leaves, cars and windows in the coldest parts of the country.
Areas like Skipton, Kilmarnock, Kendal and Settle will drop to around 3C at 8am, while parts of Manchester and the Midlands will be around 7C.
People in the South of England and the capital will experience a warmer morning, with temperatures of around 10C forecast at around 8am.
Moving forward into October, the Met Office expects a series of low-pressure systems to move across the North Atlantic.
This could bring occasional bands of rain and strong winds for the UK, broken up by brighter and showery spells.
These changeable conditions are set to continue into the start of November.
