PADDY McGuinness looked downcast after it was revealed that he and ex-wife Christine are “struggling to flog the £6.5m home they share.

The TV presenter, 51, and  Christine , 37, still live in the  seven-bedroom Cheshire home — now on the market for 4½ months — with their twins Leo and Penelope, 12, and eight-year-old daughter Felicity.

Despite remaining in the house together to co-parent, Christine is reportedly unhappy with the current living situation and wants to move out.

But the exes are still waiting for someone to snap up the mansion.

On Sunday morning, Paddy was seen stepping out of his brand new £163,000 BMW in Manchester.

He parked the flash motor and went to retrieve a parking ticket from the metre.

Paddy was dressed in a beige Ami Paris t-shirt and matching cargo trousers teamed with white and brown trainers.

He wore a pair of tinted sunglasses and seemed miles away as he stuffed his phone into his pocket and strolled through the car park.

It comes after it was revealed that the TV personality has had “very little interest” in his shared mansion with Christine.

Paddy and Christine paid £2.1million for the home in 2020 and it has a gym, his and hers dressing-rooms, an orangery and planning permission for a rear extension and roof terrace.

They stand to make a big profit but sources say it’s quite a pricey house even for posh Prestbury in east Cheshire.

One said: “It’s a lovely house with all mod cons in a fantastic location but there’s been very little interest.

Christine McGuinness has taken a sly dig at ex-husband Paddy, claiming she now wants to date women so she can have “a deeper connection.”

“It’s the most expensive house in Prestbury on Rightmove but it appears the market’s a bit flat right now.”

Paddy and Christine announced their split in 2022 and  finalised their divorce last year.

Christine has said: “We live in separate parts of the house.”

Paddy said the family’s living arrangement “doesn’t feel tricky”.

SLY DIG

Last week Christine made a dig at her ex-hubby , claiming she now wants to date women so she can have “a deeper connection”.

Christine said of dating after parting from Paddy: “I describe my sexuality as being a free spirit.

“Now I’m enjoying spending time with women.

“I can just have a deeper connection with a woman.

“I like someone who knows what they want and isn’t playing games.”

Christine  had previously confirmed that, for the past three years, she has been involved with only women, reportedly including rapper, model and  DJ Roxxxan , and singer  Chelcee Grimes .

Talking about her sexuality, which she refuses to put a label on, she says: “My ex-husband knew about it from when we first met and was fine with it.”

Christine, who has three kids with  Paddy , is one of  eight celebs in the E4 show , which is being screened on Monday.

The Sun has told how Christine quit filming after just a week, deciding the process was too intense.

However, she returned for the show’s finale.
