Plateau United technical adviser, Gbenga Ogunbote, says his team missed the support of their fans in the victory over Ikorodu City.
The Peace Boys defeated Ikorodu City 4-1 in a matchday 33 encounter at the Lafia City Stadium on Mondaym
Plateau United are currently playing their home matches at the Lafia City Stadium due to the security unrest in Jos.
Ogunbote said that though he enjoyed the support of the Lafia fans, and insisted that he would prefer the game to have been played at their original ground.
“We really missed the support of our twelfth man which is the supporters,” Ogunbote told Plateau United’s media.
“Nevertheless we enjoyed the support of the Lafia fans, but would have preferred to play this game in Jos.”
