The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Niger State has welcomed female political aspirants from all three senatorial zones, urging them to run for positions ranging from local government councilors to seats in the Niger State House of Assembly.

State chairman Alhaji Musa Hassan, who made this announcement in Minna, reiterated the party’s dedication to inclusivity, especially for women and individuals with disabilities. He emphasized that these groups represent a significant segment of the population and are essential to national development.

The ADC chairman also voiced his concerns regarding the escalating insecurity and unemployment in the country, pointing out that many Nigerians have resorted to operating commercial tricycles and taxis as alternative sources of income.

“The party is formulating policies to tackle these economic issues and bring about national transformation,” he stated.

Musa criticized the current administration for its failure to address ongoing challenges in the power and education sectors, despite having ample resources. He asserted that the ADC has the vision and leadership capability to facilitate national change if granted the mandate in 2027.

He encouraged citizens to remain optimistic and ensure they acquire their Permanent Voter Cards to exercise their democratic rights during the elections.

“The same Almighty who bestowed power upon the current administration can also bestow it upon the ADC in 2027,” he remarked.
