Nico Williams in shock move to Barcelona after Laporta approves signing

Athletic Bilbao winger, Nico Williams is set for a shock move to Barcelona this summer.

This comes after Barcelona president, Joan Laporta approved the signing of Williams, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Catalan club has now received the green light to launch a move for the Spain international this summer transfer window.

Meanwhile, Barcelona had encountered two big problems in their pursuit of Williams.

The Blaugrana picked up serious pace in recent days to sign the 22-year-old attacker this summer.

Williams is reportedly eager to make the switch to Camp Nou.

He is ready to to join Hansi Flick’s side.

Williams has been impressive for Athletic Bilbao since joining the Spanish LaLiga club a few years ago.
