ALTHOUGH most of us like to park our cars as close to home as possible, it’s not always possible to get a space directly outside.
But that wasn’t good enough for one person who took matters into their own hands after someone else began parking in their favourite spot.

Although the spaces outside the homes aren’t reserved the homeowner thought only they could park there.
Taking to Reddit, the confused homeowner explained they only parked in the space once, and ever since has been unable to do so because of the petty reaction of their neighbour.
“They’re not disabled, just petty. I live in that building, just around the corner.
“Apparently me parking there once was enough to warrant this reaction, even though there’s plenty of other parking spots for them to park in one space down, or even behind us,” the Reddit user explained.
They added that their pesky neighbour has been claiming not one but two spaces, even though they are for everyone’s use.
“They’re claiming two parking spots even though there’s no reserved parking, never has been, and now I can’t park in ‘their’ spots out of fear of getting my car keyed.
“I’m going to report them to management, fingers crossed they do something about it,” they added.
But after sharing the post, including some snaps showing how their neighbour left a chair and a table in the space to stop others parking there, fellow Reddit users shared their thoughts on the matter.
One said: “It is in the street and free for the taking. I’d toss it in the trash.
“Report them. No reserved spots. They are being petty, time to up the anti.”
“I would get out, move the sh*t and park there everyday after that. You wanna be petty, let’s do it,” a second agreed.
And a third said: “Just take the chair, table whatever they put out every single time. If anyone asks you about it say you thought it was free junk.”
“I would just go out there and sit all day,” another joked.
And someone else added: “I’d take some snacks and camp out there.”
Meanwhile, someone else revealed they had a similar problem with their neighbours .
They explained: “I had one of these people who lives across from me. The day we moved in, she put a note on our car saying we can’t park there, even though we were only there for an hour. Legit gave us the evil eye just for existing.
“She also parked between two spots making all the other spots unusable except for four spaces between their car.”
