A surprised young woman reads a letter with an open mouth. The young woman was left stunned by her neighbour’s note Note from neighbor to tenant complaining about smell. She said the note came after she got the family evicted

Taking to , she revealed that the issues really took a turn when the couple began to call the on them.

She said: “We have been trying to be so nice to these since we got here… The neighbours above us who got evicted were a married couple with kids.

“So like half a year in, they just start calling the cops for any noise we make, if I have my TV above 16, then cops are called. If I accidentally slam a cabinet/door, COPS CALLED. Even if I play my music a little loud.”

In the end, they ended up with three in less than a month, which they were notified about via the landlord.

“Keep in mind that these neighbors NEVER EVER came to us and told us we were loud, we figured it out through cops and our landlord,” she explained.

“We tried to go upstairs and just tell us if we’re being loud because if we get one more complaint then we would get evicted.

“They then complain that we “threatened” them.”

Fortunately, the landlord didn’t believe the couple’s story and they decided to get them evicted before their neighbours could do it to them.

Thanks to evidence of the neighbours leaving multiple aggressive notes and damage to the property, they were told to leave.

But they didn’t go quietly, instead the household woke to a note from the family.

It read: “Y’all smell like cat p**s and fat roll sweat.

“May your lives be sh**t for eternity, eat s**t.”

She added: “I also figured out that they got 4 people evicted here before us, lovely isn’t it?

“They got evicted cause they were lying about us and we actually had proof of the stuff they were doing.

“I’m happy I can finally have a TV on past 9pm without thinking I’m going to be on the curb in a month.”

The post went viral on the Reddit forum, Apartment Living , and people were quick to share their thoughts.

One person wrote: “So glad your nightmare is over.”

Another commented: “That note deserves to be framed.”

“Karma got them in the end,” penned a third.
