Rwanda head coach Adel Amrouche has questioned officiating in his side’s defeat to the Super Eagles of Nigeria, DAILY POST reports.

The Amavubi fell 1-0 to the Super Eagles in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matchday seven encounter in Uyo on Saturday.

Substitute Tolu Arokodare netted the winning goal for Nigeria 15 minutes from time.

It was Arokodare’s second goal for the three-time African champions.

“I don’t want to speak much about officiating because of what happened in the past. I don’t want to be banned again,” Amrouche told reporters after the game.

“Both teams gave a good fight in the game, but the officiating was not the best.”

The Amavubi will now focus their attention on their next game against the Warriors of Zimbabwe.
