In the premiere episode, viewers will attempt to guess the identity of Goldfish, who leads the group No Trout.
In the second episode, it will be Emperor Penguin's turn, who leads Antarctic Funkeys.
Both frontmen have shared clues via text messages to the panel – , , and .
Goldfish provided four clues, starting with a question to Davina: “How did it feel to be at the top of the tree?”.
The aquatic character then posed a question to Jonathan: “They say goldfish have a three-second memory. We’ll be the judge of that.”
Mo received the message: “54x4x10-166+8=X” while Maya got: “I heard you became an award-winning billionaire by swimming upstream!”
Meanwhile, Emperor Penguin sent Davina: “I hear you go all out on a hen night.”
Jonathan received: “Performing as Emperor Penguin is your Golden Ticket.”
Maya was sent: “Are you ready to kick things off? They’ll be gunning for you tonight!”
And Mo received: “You can mash them, fry them, roast them, but we all know you prefer to sing them.”
The new series begins at 6:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday on ITV1.
However, producers are remaining tight-lipped as to whether the fact that Goldfish and Emperor Penguin are accompanied by bands serves as a hint regarding their identities.
A source revealed: “As the show enters its seventh series in the UK, producers are keeping everyone guessing by increasing the number of clues and introducing even more unmaskings.
“The franchise's first-ever bands are set to astonish the audience – but viewers will be left pondering whether the band is a significant clue or not.”
